The National Effective Teaching Institute (NETI) is one of the most widely recognized and respected faculty development programs for engineering instructors in the U.S.  Since its inception in 1991, NETI workshops have drawn more than 2800 participants from over 365 universities.  The workshop has received stellar reviews and surveys of past participants show that NETI has successfully motivated them to adopt or increase their use of teaching practices known to correlate with improved student learning and made participants more reflective and student-centered in their teaching practice.

NETI is facilitated by professors Susan Lord, PhD; Matthew Ohland, PhD and Michael Prince, PhD. Learn about them in "Meet the Facilitators".
