NETI-1 Course Design and Student Engagement June 15-17, 2026, Swarthmore College

Join facilitators Drs. Susan Lord, Matthew Ohland and Michael Prince who will be holding NETI-1 at Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania June 15-17, 2026. Participants receive instruction and hands-on practice in the elements of effective teaching—motivating students, course planning, effective lecturing, active learning, inclusive teaching, assessment of learning, and dealing with the variety of problems that commonly arise in the life of a faculty member. In addition to the workshop content, you can look forward to lunch all three days in addition to a reception on the first night where you will have the opportunity to network with the facilitators and your co-attendees.
